fun fun fun!

October 19, 2004

Yay! So Friday afternoon was really fun cos Rahaeleepoo came to visit me at RISD. I had a blast with her and Michelle, Emily, and Lily and we all went to the mall and had dinner. I hope she had as happy a time as I did. I might go visit her at Roger Williams next week if I have time…we shall see. Saturday night I went to other Lily’s 21st B-Day party which was fantastically fun. I was of course a wall flower but I had a blast hanging out with everyone, especially Mark. When Michelle and I got back at like 2:30 am we decided to watch X-2 X men United until 4am…not such a good idea, cos I slept til almost noon Sunday. Then I worked on illustration all day Sunday…But anway I had a really good weekend barring the fact that ERICA neglected to come see me:( sad face. I wish I coulda seen you my dear.

Anyhoodle, its like the 13th inning of the Red Sox game and I’m frustrated…Love to all. Except Yankee fans, who suck.

LOOK AT THIS- I want one to hug and to love!

Lack of Motivation

October 13, 2004

Arggggg. I hate having free time. WAIT. Did I just say that? I know I can’t possibly mean it, but I’m getting a bit freaked out about the increasing amount of spare time on my hands. Last year I felt like I had absolutely no time for myself, and this year the pace has changed completely. I’m also a bit sad about the lack of productivity–Last year I seemed to be producing so much more work in such a brief period of time. Now my three studios are really laid back and I don’t know what to do with myself. I feel guilty and unmotivated, even though I am getting my work done. I feel like a slacker. I haven’t been doing my readings for my ONE liberal arts class because they are on reserve in the library and that is a pain in the ass to read when everybody else is trying to read them at the same time. So what to do? I’m sure my classes will pick up a bit later on, but we are almost at mid semester already!!! Anyway, I find myself downloading a lot of music and logging on to myspace more frequently then I’d like. Maybe I’ll call my mom now. And work on my artist book after that. Tonight after class I am watching the debate and then the Red Sox game. We had better kick Yankee ass tonight- that’s all I have to say about that.

Oh, by the way, I have discovered my love for The Coral and Super Furry Animals. I had no idea how good they were. Limewire here I come for more.

So much time, so litle to say

October 6, 2004

I have little to say today, but alas I wanted to blog anyway…

School is going very well, work is pretty manageble. I should be working on my next artist book but I’m watching the debate instead.

In music news, I’ve just rediscovered my love of Mercury Rev, and anyone not familiar with them should be!

I just bought The Clash’s London Calling (no, not the 25th aniversary version, just the normal one) I also bought the new Delgado’s Universal Audio and The Thrill’s Let’s Bottle Bohemia, which I haven’t yet listened to… I also bought and watched for the second time, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. I must say yet again what a flawless cinematic achievment that film is. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever seen.

My sister visted last week and I wrote her 5 page paper for her American Theater class. ( I told her I wasn’t going to but she suckered me into it anyway with her pouty little face and desperation) Yes, perhaps it was morally wrong, but I wonder what grade I’ll get anyway….

Geesh. I really should start my artist book homework. But I dontwanna. butihaveta. soiwill.
